Apologies for the delays in posting - things have been a bit hectic around here. I did manage to snap a few photos of the poured cement prior to framing. In this shot, you can see one of the footings poured to support the post-and-beam setup.
Here you can see the footing and foundation that supports the new kitchen wall, which carves out a few feet of excess space from my garage.
My slab was also extended to support the new walk-out bay window.
Once the foundation was poured, there was some additional framing to be done. First up, that annoying wall was replaced with a post-and-beam setup. It really opens up the space in the living area.
The other exciting framing was for the walk-out bay window, which worked out fairly well.
I also tried my hand at some trivial framing to add a medicine cabinet in the master bathroom.
